March is Wild

Hi, hello. Don’t mind me, coming out from the wild ether that has been March. I will be honest, I did much more reading at the beginning of March then I have done in the last two weeks.

Coronavirus has really left me scrambling to find any semblance of normalcy. I am without a job until this whole thing has blown over, and I don’t see it ending anytime soon. My university classes have all transferred to an online format and I have been struggling to have a normal routine. This has really thrown my mental health off and I’ve been struggling with my depression and am finding myself unmotivated to do anything at all. To add to this, my anxiety hasn’t been helped by the fact that we are living through an actual pandemic.

Also, Animal Crossing has taken over my life.

I’m hopeful that April is a little easier on my schedule and that I can finally get used to this new life of social distancing, but that remains to be seen. I’m already starting to get a little bit of cabin fever and that’s only after a month or so of social distancing.

All of this being said, please make sure that you are social distancing, if not to protect yourself, then to protect others. Make sure that you wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds, and also make sure that you treat everyone with kindness. We are all trying to get through this together, and the only way we will make it through is if we help one another. Let’s not hoard resources or be rude to people.

How is everyone else coping with this new lifestyle? Are you getting more reading done? How are you occupying your free time now?
